Chamarai Atapattu, Shashikala Siriwardena win major Women’s ODI awards

Siriwardena was nominated for best batter, and won best bowler and best all-rounder.

Chamarai Atapattu won the Women’s ODI Award for Best Batter, while Shashikala Siriwardena won for best bowler and
best all-rounder at the annual Sri Lanka Cricket Awards.

The other nominations for best batter were Yashoda Mendis and Shashikala Siriwardena, while Udeshika Prabhodini and Maduri Samuddika were also nominated for best bowler. Sripali Weerakkody was nominated for best all-rounder, but lost to eventual winner Shashikala Siriwardena.

Earlier, the Lifetime Service award for Cricket went to Premasara Epasinghe, TM Samath, and Bernie Wijesekara. The Umpires Awards for Premier A Panel went to Prageeth Rambukwella, while for the Emerging Panel it was Sarath Kumara, and Susantha Dissanayake for the Sara Panel.
