The Indian team has reached Dubai to play Champions Trophy, and the BCCI has appointed R. Devraj, secretary of Hyderabad Cricket Association. in order to monitor and ensure all the players go by the rules implemented by BCCI.

The Indian team has reached Dubai to partake in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The marquee event is going to begin February 19, and Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai. The Men in Blue will have their series opener with clash against Bangladesh on February 20. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is very strict with their new S.O.P. for this tournament. The players are clearly told to follow the S.O.P.
The BCCI has handed a new S.O.P. to all the players regarding their travel, luggage and family members to bring along. During the third One-Day played against England in Ahmedabad, it was made clear that there will be no compromise with the given instructions. R. Devraj has been given the duty to keep an eye on team India in Dubai.
Who is R. Devraj?
R. Devraj is India’s team manager for Champions trophy 2025. He is Hyderabad Cricket Association, and is told to strictly implement the rules. “There is no question of backing out from this and the players have made it clear that BCCI is very serious about the SOP,” a source with information about this matter told Cricbuzz.
What is role of Manager?
The responsibility of team manager, coach, or support staff. A different manager is chosen for every series. Jaydev Shah was he manager of Indian team during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Dilsher Khanna, secretary of Punjab Cricket Association, was the team manager during the T20 World Cup.
The primary responsibility of the manager is to manage things like player discipline, coordination between coach and the team and oversee logistics managers, along with coordinating between BCCI and ICC.
