Chennai Super Kings' cricketers mentioned in Gurunath Meiyappan's diary likely to be questioned

The Mumbai Crime Branch is likely to question a few Chennai Super Kings’ cricketers, whose names were mentioned in team owner Gurunath Meiyappan’s diary.

According to Mid Day, the diary was recovered by investigators during searches at Meiyappan’s residence in Chennai.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai Court on Wednesday extended Meiyappan’s police custody to May 31.

This comes a day after, arrested Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh‘s police custody was extended by a court on after the Mumbai Police presented him on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Mumbai Crime Branch brought Vindoo and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President N Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan face-to-face during interrogation to get more evidence in the Indian Premier League 2013 spot-fixing saga.
