Chennai Super Kings  were at 90 for two against  Delhi Daredevils in 12 overs with  Suresh Raina and Faf du Plessis at the crease. Chennai lost the wicket of Dwayne Smith, whose stumps were castled by Nadeem’s off spin.

JP Duminy was handed the ball in the 10th over of the game and and stifled the batsmen by coming around the wicket. Smith and Raina dealt with singles in the over before Raina swept the last delivery to fine-leg for a boundary. After a patient start, Raina was finally coming into his element. The evidence of that was seen in the next over of Shahbaz Nadeem. Raina came an inch down the wicket and smashed a six down the ground for a massive six. There was another sweep behind square but it just resulted in just a single.

The twelfth over was from an unusual candidate in Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina took his tepid bowling by slamming three consecutive fours of the over. It was one of the biggest over of the match with 13 runs taken of it.
