In the eight match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 7, Dwayne Smith gave Chennai Super Kings (CSK) a great start against Delhi Daredevils (DD) with a couple of lovely shots square of the wicket.

The fourth over started with plenty of drama. Brendon McCullum, who was having a laboured stay at the crease scooped a Jaydev Unadkat slow ball to JP Duminy, who spooned an absolute lollypop chance at point. McCullum perished a ball a ball later after trying to hook a short delivery , which landed to substitute fielder Wayne Parnell at third slip.

Mohammad Shami’s fourth over was tidy. Shami was bending his back, trying to york the batsmen in the first few deliveries. The final delivery was an absolute peach which had Raina on all fours. Shami hit the 148 case on that one. Unadkat, too was on target and suffocated the Chennai batsmen.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. Chennai made three changes from their first encounter against Kings XI Punjab. Ben Hifenhaus, Ishwar Pandey and Abhimanyu Mithun come in place of Dwayne Bravo, Ashish Nehra and Pawan Negi. Delhi, on the other hand went in with an unchanged line-up from their win Kolkata.
