Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are back in their own den as they get ready to face the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015. CSK have been magnificent through the IPL 2015 so far and have lost only one game. On  the other hand, KXIP is a team that is trying to work its way back up after a disappointing start. A Super Over victory in the game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) may just be the inspiration they are looking for. IPL 2015: Schedule with venue details

CSK are back in their fortress after being on the road for a few games. They are a formidable force at the MC Chidambaram Stadium and KXIP will find it difficult to get through. KXIP will rely on their fighting spirit in order to outsmart CSK. Last year, they won all their three encounters against CSK in the IPL and would want to keep that record going. This year though, they are yet to find their A game. IPL 2015: Points Table and Team Standings

The thing about CSK, which is perhaps the key to their strength, is their stability. They can play the same XI for game on game without making a change to the side. So, to describe the playing XI is like repeating what is known to the side. KXIP had a similar trend last year, albeit a couple of changes. This time, they are forced to make changes as they could not find form. It is unclear if skipper George Bailey will be fit to play, otherwise Virender Sehwag will continue to lead. Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 27 runs

In the last game, they brought back Shaun Marsh after ages and also drafted in David Miller after he missed the previous game. Both delivered with crucial knocks and will be key to their success. KXIP have to find a way to keep Marsh in their side as he is too-good a player to be kept on the bench. Kings XI Punjab win thrilling Super Over against Rajasthan Royals

Glenn Maxwell has not been himself so far, but he will be up against his old foe Ravichandran Ashwin. There is no love lost between the two as Maxwell dominated Ashwin through the last IPL. Here is his chance to get back at Maxwell in home conditions. Maxwell too has a chance to go on and get to a big score so that he is back amongst the runs. The other contest that would be worth watching would be that between an in-form Ashish Nehra and Virender Sehwag.

From the outset, CSK seem the favourites given their strength and stability. However, KXIP have the dangerous side who can bounce back any time.
