The Gayle storm has already hit the T20Is in England. The Universe Boss added a new record to his cap when he completed a century of sixes in T20Is. In the only T20I at Chester-le-Street, the 37-year old reached the milestone in his 52nd match off 49 innings. Chris Gayle took 11 years to reach the landmark. He scored a blistering 21-ball 40 to hand West Indies a 21-run win over England. After his successful stint in T20Is and now with his return in the ODIs as well, Gayle is eyeing return to Test cricket. With the stand-off between the board and West Indies players almost arriving at a conclusion, Gayle feels he can make a comeback to the Test arena. Gayle had made his last appearance in the longest format in 2014. On missing Test cricket, Gayle told Sky Sports, Sometimes [I miss Tests]. I am looking forward to that. Maybe next year I ll try to take that challenge up. I ll see what happens. I m looking forward to the 50-over [matches] because it s been two years since I played a 50-over game. That s more important, I m looking forward to that. He will be returning to the ODIs since March 2015. Gayle already holds most of the T20s records to his name most centuries, half-centuries, sixes and fours from 309 matches. He also holds the fastest T20 century record off just 30 deliveries. He looks forward to add more through other formats.
