In 2014, Chris Lynn announced himself to the cricket world as a feared fieldsman, thanks to some of the blinders that he managed to pouch.
Lynn’s match-turning catch for Kolkata Knight Riders to dismiss AB de Villiers of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year will surely be regarded as one of the best catches of all-time.

Here’s a catch that he managed to pull off before the IPL, a catch less spoken off, but no less brilliant.

In a Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and Queensland at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Victorian batsman Peter Handscomb, batting on 43, charged down and attempted to clear the in-field. Lynn, who was standing at mid-on, flung up full stretched and with his right hand pulled off a screamer. Full marks for the effort and of course that got the result.

After clinching the impossible, Lynn, like an acrobat cart-wheeled in the air, before falling on the ground. He maintained his balance, stood up and celebrated. Incredible!
