CLT20 2013: Mika Singh looking forward to performing at opening ceremony

Singer Mika Singh is looking forward to performing at the opening ceremony of the upcoming cricket series — Champions League Twenty20 (T20) 2013.
The opening ceremony of the series will take place in Jaipur September 21 and he will sing the anthem of the game.
“I am honoured to be a part of the beautiful concept and to sing the anthem for a global sporting property like Karbonn Smart CLT20,” Mika said in a statement.
“I am a huge fan of cricket and this is the first time that I am associating with this beautiful game, which is no less than a religion in our country,” he added.
The singer believes that the song will definitely be liked by music lovers.
“The Karbonn Smart CLT20′ anthem is a celebration of cricket. The music and lyrics are peppy and interesting – it is infectious and will catch the attention of the public. I am sure cricket fans will love it,” he said.
The song is composed by Shantanu Moitra and Prasoon Joshi.
A total of 10 teams will compete for the trophy.
The Karbonn Smart Champions League Twenty20 2013 will be telecast simultaneously on STAR Sports and STAR GOLD channels.
