Chennai Super Kings have got off to a good start against Perth Scorchers in their Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2014 match at Bangalore. Both sides need a victory to stay alive in the tournament. The first over was bowled by Joel Paris. he troubled Dwayne Smith a little. But then, when Brendon McCullum came on strike, he lofted the first ball for a six. Earlier, Adam Voges had won the toss and elected to bowl first. With the rain around in the air and the possibility of the the Duckworth-Lewis equations coming into play, it was the right decision. They made one change to the side as Michael Beer came in place of Jason Behrendoff. Chennai brought in Mithun Manhas and John Hastings for Faf du Plessis and Ishwar Pandey.
