CLT20 2014: Kings XI Punjab in control of run-chase against Cape Cobras

Sep 28, 2014

Chasing 136 to beat Cape Cobras in the Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2014, Kings XI Punjab are in firm control of the run-chase and at the end of eight overs they are 66 for one. They had lost Manan Vohra earlier, but since then Virender Sehwag and Wriddhiman Saha have led the chase well and this shouldn’t be a problem for Punjab. They will go into the semi-finals with a lot of confidence.

Earlier, Kings XI Punjab captain George Bailey had won the toss and had elected to bowl first. They are playing the same side. Dane Vilas is captaining Cape Cobras as Justin Ontong is out injured. They have also been forced to leave out Charl Langeveldt due to injury. Though they started very well, Cape Cobras faltered and were bowled out for 135.
