Sep 18, 2014

This has been a brilliant bowling performance so far by the KXIP. They did not offer no room whatsoever to either of the opening batsmen. Akshar Patel dismissed the Hurricanes captain Tim Paine in the fifth over, with the arm ball that knocked his stumps. The pressure was building on him.

KXIP will miss the services of the Aussie pacer Mitchell Johnson as he is unfit for this match. Instead, Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera will get a chance to prove his worth. hobart will be lead by Tim Paine and he too has some attacking players in his side.

It may not be a knockout match, but both teams will look to start with a win so that they can carry the momentum in the remaining games. A winning team is a happier team, and questions start popping up in the minds of players’ and management when their team loses two to three matches in a row.
