Mumbai Indians have replaced injured pacer Praveen Kumar with left-arm seamer Pawan Suyal in the ongoing Champions League T20 2014 (CLT20). Praveen had suffered a shoulder injury during the first match of the qualifying stage against Lahore Lions.

Praveen had bowled three overs and after the end of the third over was seen holding his shoulder and walking off the field. Mumbai went on to lose the match. In the next encounter against Southern Express, Mumbai had fielded leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal in place of Praveen.

Suyal is a left-arm seamer and has played only two matches for Mumbai Indians. He has played a total of 15 First-Class matches for Delhi.

Mumbai are left with one more match in the qualifying stage of CLT20 2014. They will face the Northern Knights on Tuesday night.
