Perth Scorchers are in trouble in the run-chase of 156 against Chennai Super Kings in the CLT20 2014 match. Both sides need a win to stay alive in the CLT20 2014.

Earlier, Adam Voges had won the toss and elected to bowl first. With the rain around in the air and the possibility of the the Duckworth-Lewis equations coming into play, it was the right decision. They made one change to the side as Michael Beer came in place of Jason Behrendoff. Chennai brought in Mithun Manhas and John Hastings for Faf du Plessis and Ishwar Pandey. Though Chennai struggled for a major part of their innings, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja’s blitz took them to 155 for six.
