Hobart Hurricanes will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the second semi-final of the Champions League T20 2014 on Thursday. The Hurricanes will be looking to end KKR’s 13-match winning streak. Hurricanes pacer Doug Bollinger appeared confident before the encounter.
Bollinger said to the Official Champions League website âItâs a good advantage that KKR have here and they have got a great team. âOur guys know what they are up against and thatâs what we have been practicing since morning today.â
He added ,” We just have to be confident and really have a go. The only way we can win is by going out there, holding our heads high and playing an aggressive game.â
KKR are in the form of their life but Bollinger does not seem to overawed by them. He said âThatâs a tough one when they are on a 13-game winning streak. But we have to go out there and play the same way we have been doing so far to get here. It’s great to be around three IPL teams and itâs a good challenge for some of our younger guys.”

According to Bollinger the Hurricanes have a plan to counter mystery spinner Sunil Narine. He said âWe just have to play him depending on how he bowls. He has been bowling fantastically well and he is a great bowler. We will have to play him on merit and take a cue from the teams that have played him well. He wonât change much. We have to be confident and try to get as many runs as we can off him.â
