Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill, former India cricketer-turned-commentator Ashish Nehra on Wednesday found a way to keep his spirits high during the testing times.

It is no secret that Nehra loves football and had picked up an injury during his playing days due to it, had admitted that former Argentine star Diego Maradona is his all-time favourite on ‘Breakfast With Champions’.

“I would love to play football with the team, but I have had so many injuries in the past, so I try to keep the football away from my schedule,” Nehra had said.

Meanwhile, most sporting events across have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic.

A total of 1,637 positive coronavirus cases have come to the fore with the death tolls going up to as high as 38. The Nizamuddin Tablighi meet, which took place a couple of days ago, has also added fuel to fire and quite a significant number of cases have emerged from the massive gathering itself.

In the world, the number of cases has gone up to 8,59,395 with the death tolls going up to 42,328.
