According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the police informed that the has been rented to one Vikram Singh who is renovating it. According to the police, the incident was brought to light when the caretaker of the single floor premises noticed that one LCD television was missing.

    Aaron Finch, Australia’s limited-overs captain, has admitted to having “huge anxiety” over his spot in the defending champions’ squad for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup as he struggled through a prolonged batting slump this year.

    Finch last month shrugged off a lean run for form during which he went 21 innings without a half-century in limited-overs cricket, scoring two hundreds and two 90s in the 5-0 ODI series win over Pakistan in the UAE.

    In an interview with Melbourne radio station SEN, Finch said that despite that spike, the prospect of being axed for the World Cup weighed him down.

    In his just released book, The Barefoot Coach, Rajasthan Royals’ head coach Paddy Upton has written in length about mental conditioning of sportsmen and also pointed at how former India opener Gautam Gambhir was riddled with insecurities, doubts and vulnerabilities.

    He went on to add that the former Kolkata Knight Riders skipper was one of the most negative people he has worked with.

    Gambhir replied by saying that while he enjoyed every session he had with the former India mental conditioning coach, Upton could have highlighted other facets to the batsman than just pointing at his desire to raise the performance bar.

    Sunrisers Hyderabad mentor VVS Laxman is highly impressed with David Warner who returned from a year-long ban to lead the batting charts in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League.

    Warner, in a stunning performance, ransacked 692 runs from 12 IPL matches including a century and eight fifties before returning home to link up with the Australian squad for their World Cup camp. In his final game of the season, Warner led a dominant batting performance, scoring 81 off 56, to lead SRH to a 45-run win against Kings XI Punjab keeping their playoff hopes alive.

    “He (Warner) has had a turbulent last year or so, made worse by an elbow injury, and we were a little apprehensive at the start of the season that he might be a bit rusty,” Laxman wrote in his column for The Times of India on Wednesday. “But Davey was truly outstanding. When the schedule was out, we all knew that he would be available for 12 games.”

    Rajasthan Royals legspinner Shreyas Gopal said it felt good to take a hat-trick against Royal Challengers Bangalore while dismissing Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for the second time in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League.

    Gopal dismissed RCB captain Kohli (25 off 7), De Villers (10 off 4) and Marcus Stoinis (0) to apply brakes on a fiery start on Tuesday night and reduced them to 62/7 in the rain-hit five-overs match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

    However, the match was abandoned after rain came calling again when the visitors were 41/1 after 3.2 overs during their chase.

    Australia-born cricketer Alex Hepburn was slapped a five-year sentence on Tuesday for raping a woman he found “dozing” in his teammate’s bedroom.

    Ex-Worcestershire player Hepburn was convicted following the incident which had happened in 2017 during the first night of a sexual conquest “game” he helped set up on a WhatsApp group.

    According to reports, Hepburn committed the crime in a desperate bid to “score” in the WhatsApp game between him and his male friends in which they ranked each other on the basis of “sexual conquests”.
