Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced that it will refund the tickets bought by spectators for the Day 4 and Day 5 of the first Test against Pakistan at Centurion which concluded on Friday.

South Africa defeated Pakistan by six wickets inside three days to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series that began on the Boxing Day. Chasing 149, South Africa overhauled the target thanks to half-centuries from Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla.

Debutant Duanne Olivier, who took a five-wicket haul in both the innings, was adjudged as the player-of-the-match.

In a press release on Friday, CSA Chief Executive Thabang Moroe also expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported the Test match over the three days. It was the first time we have brought the Christmas Test match to SuperSport Park and it has worked out very well, he said.

The refund policy is as follows-

Fans may claim a full refund of the face value of the ticket:

If tickets were purchased online with a credit card, you will automatically be refunded.

If you purchased tickets via EFT, Snapscan, at aTicketPro outlet or at SuperSport Park, you will be required to complete a refund request form, along with your tickets and proof of a valid bank account.

Please note, any refund requests issued at the stadium will be completed between Mon 7 Jan – Fri 18 Jan and will have up until 30 Jan to complete all payments.
