Unchanged New Zealand opt to bat first vs England in final

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat first against England in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 final at Lord’s, London on Sunday under overcast conditions.

NZ are unchanged and England too have unchanged XI from their semi-final victory over Australia, with Jonny Bairstow fully fit. This means England will be chasing for the fourth time a World Cup final.

After winning the toss, Williamson said it was not a straight forward decision to bat first, under cloud cover, but it looks like a bat-first surface. Morgan too was undecided because of the conditions, but said he is expecting the bowlers to have a say due to the overhead conditions.
