In a bid to up their social media game and keep fans entertained during the 21-day nationwide lockdown in India due to the coronavirus pandemic, popular IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings posted a video where New Zealand allrounder Mitchell Santner is showing off some incredible trick shots with a golf stick while staying indoors during the testing times.

CSK shared the video and captioned it as, “This magic from #SantaClaws can’t be ‘putt’ into words! Just magic…PURE MAGIC!”

Sans coronavirus pandemic, the cash-rich IPL would have been underway where Santner would have played for CSK.

Most cricketers are keeping themselves indoors and busy by upping their social game and interacting with fans. They are also spreading COVID-19 awareness via social media. Some cricketers have also made generous donations towards the relief.

The deadly pandemic has brought the world to a standstill and most major sporting events have been canceled or postponed and it is highly likely that IPL could face the same fate.

The Tokyo Olympics, which was supposed to be the biggest international event of the year, has been postponed in the wake of the pandemic.
