New Zealand were 15/2 at Lunch on Day Two against South Africa. Tom Latham was the first wicket to fall for the visitors as Dale Steyn tempted him into playing a drive, as the edge off his bat carried to Hashim Amla at first slip. Steyn then struck again, as Guptill was trapped in front, to a ball that nipped back in. New Zealand were 12/2 then. Vernon Philander was excellent with his line and as well. Earlier, South Africa, continuing from their last day’s score of 236/8 put on 27 runs on Day Two after the start was delayed due to rain.  Steyn was the first wicket to fall, as he was bowled by Tim Southee. Kagiso Rabada added a few runs to the score, with Dane Piedt before the latter became Trent Boult’s third victim. Boult finished with figures of 3 for 52. He was getting the ball to swing and that late movement as well. Hashim Amla was the top-scorer for South Africa with 53. Day One went in New Zealand’s favour as their bowlers put in a combined effort and took wickets at regular intervals. The play began late on Day One as well, due to the outfield being wet.
