Dale Steyn to step down as SRH’s bowling coach ahead of IPL 2025 auction

Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn has confirmed that he will not be making a return to IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the next IPL edition as their bowling coach.

However, Steyn will continue with the franchise’s other team in the SA20 competition, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, who have won both the editions of the tournament so far.

Steyn announced about his decision on social media platform ‘X’ and also thanked SRH for his stint as their bowling coach.

Steyn was not a part of SRH’s successful campaign in IPL last year as he made himself unavailable for the campaign in which the IPL franchise made it all the way to the final.
