Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper David Warner brought up his half-century off 36 balls in the match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Match 48 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday. This is Warner’s sixth fifty in the ongoing tournament, the most by an batsman so far in the league. SRH reached a score of 105 for one after 12.2, with Warner once again appearing set towards guiding his side to a major total. The Australian batsman also completed 1,000 runs for SRH in the process. While KXIP opted to keep their playing eleven unchanged from their previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), SRH decided to make three changes, getting Trent Boult, KL Rahul and Bipul Sharma in place of Ravi Bopara, Praveen Kumar and Parvez Rasool. While SRH aim to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs alive with a win, KXIP will be happy to settle for a consolation victory after being eliminated from the ongoing tournament with nine defeats from 11 games.
