David Warner brought up his half-century in 24 balls as Sunrisers Hyderabad were heading towards a comfortable victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the eighth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015. The SRH skipper, who brought up his second-consecutive half-century in this IPL, smashed six fours and two sixes during his stay at the crease as he looked to bring up the victory for his team single-handedly. Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier put up a disciplined display with the ball as they managed to bowl Royal Challengers Bangalore out for a score of 166 in 19.5 overs, with Trent Boult and Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking three and two wickets while conceding 36 and 30 runs respectively. SRH earlier won the toss and captain Warner elected to field. While RCB decided to stick to the eleven that beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by three wickets, SRH decided to draft in Praveen Kumar and Ashish Reddy in place of Parvez Rasool and Ishant Sharma, with the latter conceding 46 runs off three overs in their opening game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
