The last time Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals met was last month in Jaipur. Ajinkya Rahane blasted a century and captain Steve Smith struck a composed fifty to power RR to 191/6. DC chased down the target with four deliveries to spare. Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw set the base with a solid opening stand before a blazing 36-ball 78 from Rishabh Pant saw through the chase.

Fast forward to Saturday and DC have already made it to the IPL 2019 playoffs while RR are struggling. Their hopes now pinned on beating DC and praying other results go their way. They are also without Steve Smith, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes. A defeat will end their playoff chances.

On the other hand, a win for DC, a big one, will ensure a top-two finish and this giving them two chances at making the IPL 2019 final.
