Dhaka Dynamites came out hard in the first innings of the 13th encounter of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League 2016 against Comilla Victorians at Dhaka on Monday. Dynamites fought hard and posted a massive total of 194 in their 20 overs and made the most of batting-friendly wicket. Comilla Victorians have a task in hand in chasing down such a massive total. Mehedi Maruf was outstanding with the bat and once more he played a crucial knock at the top. Maruf played a much needed knock of 60 runs to get his team off to a flying start. Maruf, Kumar Sangakkara started the proceedings for Dynamites and ensured a flying one. Kumar Sangakkara got out after getting a decent start for 20, Al-Amin got the better of him and drew the first blood. Nasir Hossain, Maruf put up a solid stand of 84 runs between them before the former was dismissed for a well played 43. This was undoubtedly the match-defining partnership of the game as they garnered runs at a brisk rate. Ryan ten Doeschate provided the much needed breakthrough as he got the better of Nasir Hossain.

Ravi Bopara didn’t manage to make any impact as he was dismissed for 8. Shakib Al Hasan played a good cameo 24 off 13 deliveries before Rashid Khan got his wicket. Dwayne Bravo, Seekkuge Prasanna remained unbeaten as Dynamites posted 194 in their 20 overs. Comilla Victorians bowlers had a tough time in the field barring Rashid Khan who had three wickets to his name. Al-Amin, Doeschate had one wicket each to their name other than whoch every bowler struggled. Comilla Victorians have a tough ask as Dynamites have some serious depth in their bowling.
