Sri Lankan captain Tillakaratne Dilshan will be the seventh Sri Lankan cricketer to be featured in Lord’s Hounour’s Board. This news has come right after his spectacular century in the second drawn Test against England.

Dilshan s innings of 193 at Lord’s last week has broken the record of Sidath Wettimuny’s, which was a long-standing highest score by a Sri Lankan at the venue.

With this, Dilshan has joined the likes of Aravinda de Silva and Duleep Mendis in the list of those who were honoured by the board, reports said.

Other stalwarts like Amal Silva, Rumesh Ratnayake, Marvan Atapattu and Mahela Jayawardene also feature in this list.

The only Sri Lankan bowler to feature in the list is Ratnayake, who took five-wicket haul during the Sri Lanka s tour to England in 1991.
