It is the occasion of Indian cricketer Suresh Raina s birthday and wishes have started pouring in on social media. He is among those Indian cricketers, who enjoyy immense fan following on social media. Raina turns 30 on Sunday and currently, he is out from the Indian Test and T20I teams. He was a part of the ODI team that played against New Zealand recently, but illness prevented him from playing any game, before being ruled out at later stages of the series. With him turning 30, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag made a special tweet for Raina on his birthday. In the tweet, Sehwag made use of a pun through which he tried to say that he sees himself in Raina. Well, like Sehwag, Raina too is known for his destructive batting, irrespective of the format. He is the first Indian cricketer to hit hundred in all formats. Raina s 25-ball 87-run knock against Kings XI Punjab in the second qualifier match of Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2014 came in front of Sehwag, who scored a brilliant ton in that match. For a period of time, Raina was India s best finisher in ODIs. From 77 successful chases, Raina averages 66.60 in the format with the strike-rate of 101.74, which speaks about the similarity between him and Sehwag. Well, may be Sehwag did not mean to say that but his pun surely suggested the same.

Raina is currently spending time with his family; especially his little daughter Gracia. His occasional posts on Twitter and Instagram give a good account of the same.
