Dolphins’ openers Cameron Delport and Morne van Wyk provided their side a confident start as they reached 48 for no loss after six overs in their Ram Slam T20 Challenge semi-final at Kingsmead, Durban on Thursday.

Titans started off on a positive note with their opener Cameron Delport opening up in the second over of the match. The left-handed batsman smashed three boundaries off Ethy Mbhalati to start off the proceedings.

Morne van Wyk joined his partner soon, as he cracked two boundaries off seasoned Dolphins’ campaigner Albie Morkel.

However, the Delport was lucky when Mbhalati spilled an easy chance off David Wiese in the fourth over at mid-off.

Delport was batting on 24 while van Wyk was on 20 not out.
