Kolkata Knight Riders have Royal Challengers Bangalore to thank for making their final IPL 2019 league match not lose significance. RCB beat Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday night meaning KKR are still in playoff contention, needing to just beat Mumbai Indians on Sunday to clinch the fourth spot – in points table and playoffs.

That they broke their wretched run of six straight defeats against MI should give them the confidence of completing the double over the former three-time champions. For MI, a win will give them a top-two finish meaning two attempts at making the playoffs.

These two teams last met at the Eden Gardens where Andre Russell and Hardik Pandya set the stage on fire with their pyrotechnics. Will we see another high-scoring thriller tonight at the Wankhede Stadium?
