Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede in their previous encounter. After restricting them to a modest total, the visitors made a solid start before the contest ended in a tie and eventually surrendered in the Super Over. Had they won, a playoff spot would have been a guarantee given their superior net run-rate.

However, they will have to leave the disappointment behind and rise up to the challenge against a team that has nothing to lose for. Royal Challengers Bangalore are already out of playoff contention and given their surge in the late stage of the season, could pour cold water on SRH’s hopes should they take them lightly.
