Still needing 376 runs to win, India Green were off to a shaky start on Day Four against India Red. It was Karn Sharma yet again that provided Red s a breakthrough. He got Samarth Ravikumar caught by wicketkeeper for 59. He along with Karun Nair added 89 runs for the third wicket for India Green. Nair continued his staunch resistance in the middle along with skipper Parthiv Patel to take India Green into tea at 173 for 4. India Green are still 301 runs away from a win with not much batting prowess at their disposal.

After the fall of Samarth, Ankit Bawne soon joined Nair in the middle and steady the ship. The pair added 35 runs before Bawne fell to Siddharth Kaul. Bawne was bowled for a 40-ball 17. Patel joined Nair with tea 20 minutes away. The pair batted on with composure with minimum risk to see off a nervy stint.
