Vihari and Samit Gohel took the team off to a decent start but before they could put up 50 runs on the board for their team, Karn got an edge off Gohel to get him out for 32. Experienced Manoj Tiwary then formed a brief partnership with Vihari but was dismissed by Thampi for a mere 20 before the team score could reach 90. Vihari is now the key for India Blue as he has faced many deliveries and has spent some time out in the middle. Raina, who was full of positives before the start of the tournament, will have to build team’s first big partnership with Vihar in order to take first-innings lead. They are 8 runs away from the team score of 100.
