Duleep Trophy 2024: Rishabh Pant mark Test cricket return with half-century

Rishabh Pant turned out to play a crucial role in the innings of India B, as he scored an important half-century after he struggled in the first innings of Duleep trophy 2024. He and Sarfaraz Khan significantly contributed to the total score of India B after they faced early blows.

Akash Deep and Avesh Khan mad early progress, as they dismissed three India B batsmen in just 22 runs in the first eight overs. However, Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan made an important relationship, and added 72 runs and guided India B toward a good total score.

Rishabh Pant is expected to make a comeback in test cricket as India B will host Bangladesh in a two-match series which will start on September 19. Even though he scored just 7 runs in the first innings of Duleep Trophy, the aggressive batting by Pant on Day 3 has demonstrated his fitness levels and his determination towards Test cricket.
