The West Indies squad for the 2015 World Cup will not feature Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard, if a statement by former West Indies spinner Dinanath Ramnarine is to be believed. The revelations came ahead of the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) announcement of the final squad for the mega-event.

Ramnarine, who played 12 Tests and four One-Day Internationals (ODI) between 1997 and 2002, was quoted as ‘confirming’ the exclusion of the two hard-hitting batsmen from the final 15 on his Twitter account.

With the World Cup scheduled to begin on February 14, several boards have been going about announcing their final squads for the biggest tournament in one-day cricket. West Indies, along with Australia, are yet to do the honours.
