The stormy weather in Kolkata may play a spoilsport in shifting all the Champions League matches away from Eden Gardens in this year Champions League T20.

Eden gardens was scheduled to host four CLT20 matches on September 25 (two games), 27 and 29th. According to a report in Indian Express, the matches could now be shifted to Hyderabad. The final decision with regards to the move will be taken by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Tuesday.

CAB joint secretary Biswarup Dey was quoted in the The Indian Express as saying, “It s very difficult to prepare wickets and outfield in these conditions. There is forecast of more rains. We have informed the BCCI as we don t want to jeopardise an international tournament. The board, in turn, has told us to take an appropriate decision.”
