India were firmly in control against Zimbabwe in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) at Harare on Tuesday when Elton Chigumbura was dismissed for 10 off 14 to leave the hosts at 97 for 3. Hamilton Masakadza was the first to go, out LBW to Mohit for a 24-ball 7. Regis Chakabva was then bowled off the inside edge off the bowling of Akshar Patel. Chigumbura was then adjudged out LBW off the bowling of Vijay for 10 off 14. Earlier, Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav put on a memorable 144-run stand to boost India to a commanding 277 for 5. Pandey scored his maiden ODI half-century, becoming the 12th Indian batsman to reach the landmark on debut. Kedar was the star though, scoring a tremendous 105 not out.
