England 65/1 at Tea on Day 5, need 78 more runs to win the 2nd Test against West Indies at Grenada

England were 65 for one at tea, having been set a victory target of 143, after the West Indies were dismissed for 307 in their second innings on the final day of the second Test at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada on Saturday. Jonathan Trott was the only man dismissed for England but a steady partnership between Gary Ballance and skipper Alastair Cook has put England well on course to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. James Anderson rattles West Indies as England eye win on Day 5 of 2nd Test at Grenada

England had earlier dismissed West Indies for 307, courtesy of some excellent bowling by fast bowler James Anderson, who finished with figures of four for43. Moeen Ali too chipped in with three wickets to leave West Indies reeling after they finished Day Four on  high. England managed to pickup a total of six wickets in the first session to put themselves in the ascendency. Marlon Samuels too was dismissed after he got off to an excellent start. Samuels scored his seventh Test century in the first innings. Kraigg Brathwaite urges West Indies to stay focused on Day 5

England just need a further 78 runs to win the match. West Indies, despite putting up a good performance will be heart broken if they go on to lose the match. They certainly have the ability to make England struggle in the final session of the match though. Whether they can do so is to be seen. West Indies will hope that their premier fast bowler Jerome Taylor is fit for the third and final Test. The first Test in Antigua last week ended in a draw and both teams will be hoping to win the third and final Test as well. England will take a lot of confidence from this Test, but West Indies too have enough firepower to go on and possibly level the series considering England win the match today.
