England have named an unchanged side for the second Test against India at Vizag, which means that their leading wicket-taker James Anderson will have to wait to make his return. Anderson last played in the fourth and final Test against Pakistan at The Oval in August. England were handed a boost when Anderson flew in to join the sqiuad in Rajkot, but his shoulder injury will keep him out for at least the second Test, according to England coach Trevor Bayliss. England came close winning the first Test at Rajkot, but Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja offered some resistance in the end to ensure that the match is drawn. We ll assess him [Anderson] in the next couple of days, Bayliss said. But from all reports he s been bowling well in the nets. We ll put him through his paces again. These last five days have been tough, so we ll have to assess how everyone has come through and then we ll make a decision, according to eveningstandard.co.uk.

Bayliss also said that he was pleased with England s performance at Rajkot. We re very pleased, said the England coach. Win, lose or draw, I thought effort-wise that s probably the best performance we ve had since I ve been with the team. The way the guys played in this Test should give us plenty of confidence batting and bowling. Our batters played well against their spinners, and our spinners and seamers all bowled well. We acquitted ourselves very well, but we re under no illusions that these next four Tests could be even tougher than this one. So we ve got to continue putting in that effort. If we do, we ve a chance of winning. READ: IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Pitch will not have much grass, says curator

Anderson s absence will mean that Surrey all-rounder Zafar Ansari will have another crack. He picked up three wickets in the first Test against India and is all set to play his third Test in his career. We went with these three guys [Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid and Zafar Ansari] and they performed well in this game, said Bayliss.
