England have set a target of 270 runs for Australia in the Group A match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 at Egbaston on Saturday.

Opener Ian Bell top-scored with 91, while Jonathan Trott scored 43. Ravi Bopara scored an unbeaten 46 after England had lost the plot losing quick wickets in the middle overs

England lost the momentum in the mandatory batting Powerplay overs. In the 38th over, Bell missed a straight delivery off Faulkner and was castled for 91. In the next over problems for England compounded when Root played an uppish drive off Clint McKay which was caught at mid-wicket by Bailey. Eoin Morgan and Ravi Bopara looked at consolidation.

For Australia, James Faulkner and Clint McKay picked up two wickets each. Starc was the most expensive bowler. He conceded 75 off his 10 overs.

Openers David Warner and Shane Watson will look to give Australia an explosive start upfront. The Aussie batting came under scrutiny after they were bowled out for a paltry 65 against India in a warm-up match.
