Pakistan legspinner Shadab Khan will miss the upcoming limited-overs tour of England starting next month after tests revealed he’s suffering from a virus.

A full recovery from the illness will require rest of at least four weeks ruling him out of the five ODIs and a lone T20I Pakistan are scheduled to play against England starting May 5.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a statement on it official website stated it will schedule appointment for the 20-year-old with specialists in England to help him get fit in time for the ICC World Cup 2019 starting May 30.

Pakistan will kick off their campaign against West Indies on May 31 at Trent Bridge.

Yasir Shah has been named as his replacement and will travel with the side for England on April 23.

Apart from that, they already have two additional World Cup squad members in Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali and can make changes to the squad till May 23.
