Clive Lloyd joins the party, dancing to the tunes of the infamous West Indies’ celebrations song “Champion”. He danced to the song after the match with ICC T20 World T20 2016 trophy in his hand. The 71 year old legend was enjoying himself as everyone in the team urged him to dance. At first he was shy and said, “i can’t dance alone” but eventually gave in to the team’s request and started dancing. West Indies were also mocked by Afghanistan who beat them in the last league match. After that the dance became a mandatory in every celebration. They danced after beating hosts India in the semi-final clash at Wankhede and also posted videos of them dancing in the hotel and kitchen.  West Indies started celebrating as soon as Carlos Brathwaite struck a maximum to win the match with two balls to spare. Whole West Indies dugout went berserk after the six running around and celebrating the title win. Brathwaite hit four consecutive sixes in the last over off Ben Stokes to win the trophy. Marlon Samuels overflowing with emotions turned a bit aggressive throwing his jersey and running towards England dugout to which Curtly Ambrose reacted and controlled him.

Marlon Samuels was later fined for Bad Code of Conduct on the field on abusing Ben Stokes. Darren Sammy too revealed some facts about lack of support from WICB (West Indies Cricket Board).
