England win toss, elect to bowl in rain truncated 23 overs match

England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and chose to bowl in the second ODI against India at the Rose Bowl on Tuesday.

The start of the match was delayed by rain. The match was to start at 2pm local time but failed to get on due to wet out field. Match has been reduced to 23 overs per side.

The first ODI was abandoned on Saturday, 7.2 overs into the England innings after India had scored 274 for seven from their allotted 50 overs.
