England captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and opted to bat against West Indies in their crucial World Cup Group B match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

England have made three changes in their team that lost to Bangladesh in Chittagong. They have brought in seamer Chris Tremlett in place of out of form James Anderson, while Luke Wright replaces experienced Paul Collingwood and all-rounder James Tredwell comes in for Ajmal Shahzad.

West Indies, on the other hand, have made two changes with dashing Chris Gayle returning to the side in place of Shivnaraine Chanderpaul while Devendra Bishoo comes in for Nikita Miller.
