England’s 15-player Team Announced for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024- Also Includes Highest Wicket-taker from 2023

England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced their team for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The team is hoping to improve their performance as compared to the previous edition and steal their place in finals this time. They suffered a loss to South Africa in the semi finals last year. The highest wicket-taker of 2023 edition, Sophie Ecclestone is also going to be a member of the team.

“World Cups are always special events to be involved in as a player and I’m really excited by the squad we have selected to take over to the UAE. It’s an honour to lead the team into another World Cup. We’re looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead,” said Heather Knight.

England is in Group B with Bangladesh, South Africa, Scotland and West Indies. The team is going to be going to Abu Dhabi in order to take a training camp from 13 to 24 September before beginning the official ICC warm-up games.
