In a bid to extend the reach of Champions League Twenty20 to fans in Australia, ESPN STAR Sports, the official broadcaster of the tournament, on Thursday announced a multi-platform partnership with Fox Sports.

The deal includes rights to telecast the matches live and exclusive on-air, online and on the mobile platform, the broadcaster stated.

Australia is represented in the third edition of the CLT20 through Southern Redbacks and New South Wales Blues — the winner and runners-up of the domestic KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.

The interest of the Aussie fans in CLT20, which kicks off tomorrow in Bangalore, will be further bolstered by the presence of cricketers like Brett Lee, Doug Bollinger and Brad Haddin who will be in action for their respective franchises. (PTI)
