Apart from these cricketers, India’s Mandeep Singh and Unmukt Chand were also happy with victory of Portugal. While former England cricketer Micheal Vaughan was surprised to find Ronaldo taking over the role of manager during extra time, James Taylor termed Ronaldo legend with this stunning win. Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez enjoyed time with his son Roshan and the video shows his son shouting for Portugal in the background. In the history-making triumph, it was substitute forward Eder, who rarely scores for the national team, took a pass from Joao Moutinho in the 109th minute, cut onto his right, and unleashed the perfect strike towards the near-corner. France keeper and captain Hugo Lloris made a stretch but still failed to touch the ball. The statistics showed that France gained the upper hand with 56 percent ball possession and 7 on-target shots. But Portugal keeper Rui Patricio performed brilliantly to deny the hosts’ willingness to win the battle in 90 minutes.
