In comparison, hospital beds are only charging between Rs 3,000 and Rs 25,000 for a one-to-two-night stay, have come up as a more reasonable choice. In addition, fans who select this option benefit from the package’s inclusion of meals and medical examinations in addition to saving money on lodging.
“Since it’s a hospital, they are asking for a full-body check-up and an overnight stay so both of their purposes are fulfilled, saving money on lodging and getting their health check done,” said Dr. Paras Shah, Director of Sannidhya Multi-Speciality Hospital as quoted by Ahmedabad Mirror.
This step from the fans of going for the hospital beds simply shows the staggering excitement around the India-Pakistan match. Ahmedabad’s hospitality sector, particularly the hospitals, is seeing a rise in demand because of this innovative arrangement by fans to beat the skyrocketing hotel costs.
