Fans call for KL Rahul to be dropped after poor display in New Zealand Test

Indian batter KL Rahul continued his woeful form as he got dismissed after scoring just 12 runs off 16 deliveries. This comes after he was sent back to the dugout for a duck in the first innings.

Though Rahul did play a decent knock of 68 against Bangladesh in the recently-concluded Test match in Kanpur, he didn’t look in good touch during the rest of the series and the same thing happened in the ongoing New Zealand Test in Bengaluru.

Interestingly, during the match, commentator Harsha Bhogle asked Ravi Shastri whether he remembers the last time when Rahul saved the Indian team from a collapse and Shastri bluntly answered, “No, because Rahul was a part of that collapse.”

After this poor performance against the Kiwis, Indian fans showed no mercy and brutally trolled KL Rahul on social media and some even called for him to be dropped from the Indian team.
