Pacer Fidel Edwards picked three wickets conceding 42 runs AFP

Fidel Edwards picked three wickets at Tea as Bangladesh reached a score of 186 runs for the loss of six wickets against West Indies on Day One of the first Test match on Wednesday.

Nasir Hossain was the top scorer for the hosts with on 52 runs while skipper Mushfiqur Rahim was unbeaten on 32 runs at the end of the second session. Earlier, Bangladesh reached a score of 88 runs for the loss of three wickets at Lunch on Day One of the second Test match against West Indies at Khulna on Wednesday.

Earlier, winning the toss, the hosts elected to bat first. Fidel Edwards was first to strike as he removed the opener Nazimuddin. Shahriar Nafees, who came in to bat at No 3, was dismissed by skipper Darren Sammy, who followed it up by removing Tamim Iqbal few overs before the close of the first session.

West Indies lead the two-match Test series after a win in the first tie by 77 runs.
